Ollie Twist is an American musician, record producer and guitarist. He is one of the primary founders of the underground hip hop label Rhyme Skeme Productions. He serves as project coordinator as well as being the chief contributor to the label releasing multiple solo albums and collaborative efforts since 1998.

Producing most of his own work, Twist is a principal member both in the lyrical department and as a songwriter with affiliated acts Weapons of Gabriel, Parallel Intel & Frequency 420. He is also a primary feature artist on several albums assembled by the group West Zone; a hip hop organization from Poland under the label International Affairs. In addition, Twist was the main vocalist in the now defunct alternative hip hop/hard rock group The Enemy Concept.

Born and raised in New England, Twist now currently resides and operates out of the Southeast US - predominately Florida.

During 2004 and 2005 Ollie Twist was using the title of Nucleus, the projects released during this time can be found on the Nucleus page of the website.

"First Sound" is a 10 track concept album from Ollie Twist, his sixth solo project and first since "Love That Kills" (2012). Sonically the songs are focused on mechanical, sci-fi based sound effects and an atmospheric, outer space vibe throughout. The story is about an alien being who discovers Earth and stops by for a visit, leaving behind a time capsule of other worldly music. The album features vocal contributions from Jill Freisinger on 5 songs and is now available in "Deluxe" version including all 10 instrumentals.

Love That Kills is the fifth solo album from Ollie Twist and was released on June 1, 2012. This record is a big departure from the signature hip hop brand that Rhyme Skeme albums captured up to this point. The tracks on this record toggle between lust and the romantic, the pure and the mischievous. Love That Kills is stocked with ballads and more singing than rapping in most cases. Notably the album features singer Jill Freisinger on several tracks including the single "The Whole World Will Know".

Love That Kills is a personal metamorphosis and a musical evolution for Ollie Twist, bringing along with him contributions from other Rhyme Skeme members Avatar, General Doobe and Jiceman (currently The Wickkid One). Thematically the record takes you through the process of rebirth and reconnection, it's focus is relationships and intimacy. The Deluxe versions includes 5 extra tracks previously unreleased.
